A Bangsar Baru entrepreneur has produced a shopping guide for the commercial centre.

The guide, ‘Shopping in Bangsar Baru’ is a four page, two colour leaflet, which categorises 44
businesses in Bangsar Baru.

It lists the shops, their addresses and telephone numbers with attractive photographs.
A map of the commercial centre is also included in the guide.
The businesses are divided according to their nature – fast food chains, sundry shops,
sports shops, insurance agencies, bookstores, opticians and pubs among others.

Chan said the guide would make it more convenient and save time for consumers when they shop

forerunner of many other popular nightspots such as Heritage Row, Bintang Walk,
Cangkat Bukit Bintang, Desa Sri Hartamas, and Solaris and so on.

18 years down the road, flyers are still being widely distributed. They are ignored or treated
as nuisance by the public. Customers will find shopping guides similar to mine more useful and
