I refer to the letter “Stickers to keep cabbies in line” (The Star, April 7) which stated that CVLB will

It would have been more convincing if CVLB had disclosed the number of taxi drivers caught from
Feb 8, and named the offences and punishments meted out.

If it is defamatory to name these taxi drivers and licence holders, publishing the registration numbers
of their taxis will be sufficient deterrent as it will drive fear into taxi drivers whenever they meet and

As a taxi driver, what recourse do I have if my passengers refuse to go by the meter?
This is especially true for those driving executive taxis as their meter rate is much higher than budget
